PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A Comfortable Start to Shared Walks

Nekoan’s padded Y-shaped cat harness brings a broad chest panel together with an adjustable body strap and sliding back adjustment. Its cushioned front and spacer-mesh lining offer a comfortable contact surface, while the Y-shaped panel helps distribute leash pressure across the chest.

Set the back ring and adjustable metal stopper to suit your cat’s proportions. The limited sliding action helps resist backing out when correctly fitted. Use gentle guidance, avoid sharp pulls and ease tension as your cat settles.

Pair the harness with the matching 8 mm polyester rope leash, adjustable from 120–220 cm. Choose handheld, waist or crossbody use, with a padded contact section and 360° swivel clip for everyday practicality.

This cat walking harness can be used for indoor leash practice, gradual socialization and supervised outdoor exploration. Begin at home, then introduce quiet garden visits and short walks at your cat’s pace.

Measure around the base of the neck and the widest part of the chest just behind the front legs. Keep the tape naturally close without tightening.

Choose by measurements and the final fitted position, rather than weight alone. The stated neck measurement is a maximum; it does not guarantee a secure fit on very small cats. Allow approximately 1–3 cm variation from manual measurement.

Fitting & Use

1. Position the Y-shaped padded panel against the chest.
2. Adjust and fasten the chest strap behind the front legs.
3. Position the sliding back ring and metal stopper for a close, comfortable fit.
4. Attach the leash and check that your cat can move normally without large gaps.

Keep the leash relaxed during normal walking. Avoid sharp pulls, dragging or lifting your cat by the harness. Waist and crossbody modes still require active supervision.

Wipe dirty areas gently with a damp cloth and air dry in a shaded, ventilated place. Do not machine wash, iron, tumble dry or bleach. Check the rope, stitching, buckle, adjustment hardware and leash clip before every use.

Returns & Refunds

For eligible non-personalized goods, notify us at support@nekoan.com within 14 days after the last item in your order is delivered, then send the goods back within 14 days after notice. Contact us for the correct return address before posting; do not use the dispatch address.

For change-of-mind returns or a size selected incorrectly by the customer, the customer pays the actual direct return postage. We do not charge a fixed return-postage fee or a restocking fee. Necessary return or replacement shipping costs for a confirmed defect or our error are covered by us.

Goods genuinely made to your individual specifications or personalized may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where permitted by law. Being handmade or produced after an order is placed does not automatically make a standard item non-returnable. Rights for damaged, defective or incorrect goods remain unaffected.

FAQ

Does this harness help prevent backing out?

Yes. The Y-shaped structure and limited sliding back adjustment are designed to help resist backing out when correctly fitted. Secure the stopper and check the fit before each outing. No harness is completely escape-proof.

How does the sliding adjustment work?

The back ring moves along the rope, while the adjustable metal stopper limits its travel. This allows the fit to respond to leash tension within the set limit. Use gentle guidance rather than sharp pulls.

Does it reduce pressure on the neck?

The broad padded Y-shaped panel is designed to spread leash pressure across the chest rather than concentrating it at a collar. Correct positioning and gentle handling remain essential.

Can I wear the leash across my body?

Yes. The adjustable leash supports handheld, waist and crossbody configurations. Adjust it to your body and surroundings while keeping your cat close and supervised.

Is it suitable for kitten leash training?

Only if the harness fits securely within the stated measurements. Very small kittens may not achieve a suitable fit. Begin with short indoor sessions before introducing outdoor walks.

Can I use it for socialization and outdoor exploration?

Yes. It can be used during gradual harness familiarization, indoor leash practice and supervised introductions to quiet outdoor surroundings. Follow your cat’s pace.
