PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A softer recovery cone with extra depth around the head. This foam-filled design combines a forward-projecting shape with a soft, adjustable neck opening for cats and small dogs.

Segmented padded panels form a three-dimensional barrier to help limit access to areas that need protection. The cone can flex, while the drawcord neck adjustment helps refine the fit.

Use during post-operative recovery, wound care or veterinarian-directed skin treatment when the selected depth prevents your pet from reaching the affected area. For topical medication, follow the treatment instructions.

The polyester outer fabric is waterproof and can be wiped clean after everyday splashes or surface dirt. Keep the neck opening dry and check comfort during meals and rest.

Choose using neck measurements and the depth required, rather than weight alone. A soft cone is not suitable for every pet or every wound location; ask your veterinarian to confirm protection.

When to Use

After surgery: Can help limit access to a surgical site when the cone is appropriately fitted and your veterinarian confirms it provides enough protection.

During wound and skin care: Provides a physical barrier to help limit licking or biting of an area being cared for.

During prescribed topical treatment: Use according to your veterinarian’s or the medication’s instructions to help restrict access to the treated area.

During indoor rest: Soft panels provide a padded edge during quiet recovery. Check that the cone remains positioned and continues to block access when your pet changes posture.

Size & Fit

Refer to the size chart images in the product gallery for neck ranges and cone depths. Choose from the sizes available in the product selector.

Measure around the neck where the opening will sit, and check the distance from that position to beyond the nose. Weight is a reference only.

The rim must extend far enough to stop your pet reaching the area requiring protection. Check this in standing, sitting and resting positions.

Adjust the neck opening so that approximately two fingers fit comfortably underneath. Confirm that your pet can breathe and swallow normally, and keep loose cord ends safely positioned.

Head shape, body proportions, leg length and coat thickness all affect fit. If your pet can reach the protected area or folds the soft cone aside, ask your veterinarian about another type of protection.

A soft cone cannot guarantee prevention of licking or biting. Follow your veterinarian’s instructions for wearing time.

Materials

Polyester outer fabric with foam filling. A soft rib-knit neck opening and drawcord adjustment complete the cone.

Care

Wipe surface dirt or splashes away with a soft cloth. For further cleaning, gently hand wash and allow to air dry fully in a ventilated place.

Do not machine wash, bleach, iron or dry clean. Keep the neck opening clean and dry, and check the fabric, seams and adjustment components regularly.

Standard shipping is free on orders of US$100 or more; orders below US$100 have a flat US$8 shipping fee. Local-currency equivalents and available destinations are shown at checkout.

Orders are currently dispatched from China. Most standard products are dispatched within 2 business days after payment. For customized or made-to-order products, please contact us before ordering. Production and dispatch times are confirmed individually with you.

Estimated transit time is 7–9 business days after dispatch, separate from processing time. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs or carrier delays.

Returns & Refunds

For eligible non-personalized goods, notify us at support@nekoan.com within 14 days after the last item in your order is delivered, then send the goods back within 14 days after notice. Contact us for the correct return address before posting; do not use the dispatch address.

For change-of-mind returns or a size selected incorrectly by the customer, the customer pays the actual direct return postage. We do not charge a fixed return-postage fee or a restocking fee. Necessary return or replacement shipping costs for a confirmed defect or our error are covered by us.

Goods genuinely made to your individual specifications or personalized may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where permitted by law. Being handmade or produced after an order is placed does not automatically make a standard item non-returnable. Rights for damaged, defective or incorrect goods remain unaffected.

FAQ

Can this soft recovery cone be used after surgery or during skin treatment?

It can help limit access to a surgical site, wound or skin-care area when correctly fitted. For topical medication, follow your veterinarian’s or the medication’s instructions. Confirm that your pet cannot reach the area before relying on it.

How is this different from a flower-shaped collar or a rigid cone?

This model has a deeper, forward-projecting cone shape with foam-filled panels. A flower collar sits in a different shape around the neck. The padded cone can flex, so its suitability depends on your pet and the area requiring protection; it is not equivalent to a rigid barrier in every situation.

How do I choose the right size?

Use the gallery size chart to compare neck circumference and cone depth. Weight alone is not enough. Check that the neck fits comfortably and that the rim extends far enough to prevent access to the protected area. Choose from the sizes available in the selector.

Can my pet eat, drink and rest while wearing it?

Check these activities with your pet while supervised. Bowl shape, cone depth and your pet’s proportions affect access. Keep the edge and neck opening dry, confirm normal food and water intake, and follow your veterinarian’s instructions about wear during sleep.

Will it rub the neck or slip off?

The soft neck opening can be adjusted, but fit and moisture still matter. Leave approximately two fingers of comfortable space, check for slipping and inspect the neck regularly. If there is redness, rubbing or persistent discomfort, stop and seek advice about adjustment or another collar.

How should I clean it?

Wipe minor splashes and dirt away with a soft cloth. Gently hand wash when needed and air dry completely in a ventilated place. Do not machine wash, bleach, iron or dry clean.
