NEKOAN Adjustable Y-Shaped Cat Harness & Rope Leash Options — Blue Gray

Design & Features
Wide Y-shaped chest pad
The softly padded chest panel follows the shape of your cat’s chest, offering broader contact than a narrow strap and helping distribute leash pressure during supervised walks.

Soft air-layer fabric
The chest pad has a soft, cushioned feel for comfortable everyday wear. Its flexible construction sits gently against the body without the bulk of a full garment.

Adjustable fit to help reduce slipping
The adjustable body strap, metal sliding rings and adjustable metal stopper work together to help maintain a closer fit. Correct sizing and adjustment are essential, especially for cats that may back away from the leash.

Controlled adjustment
The metal stopper lets you set the adjustment limit. The sliding-ring mechanism responds to leash tension and can loosen as tension eases, helping you manage the fit without relying on a neck collar alone.

Easy buckle fastening
A side-release buckle makes the harness easier to put on and remove. Strap sliders allow you to refine the fit before each walk.

8 mm braided polyester rope
The matching leash uses a rounded, closely braided polyester rope with a substantial feel and clearly defined woven texture. The round construction helps reduce fur snagging during normal use.

Adjustable leash length
Adjust the leash from 120 to 220 cm to suit your walking setup and surroundings.

Three ways to carry the leash
Use it handheld, across the body or around the waist. The padded handle section offers a softer contact point when holding or wearing the leash.

Matching metal hardware
Metal rings and a connector clip complete the set, making it easy to connect the leash to the harness.

Three Everyday Colours

Mustard Yellow
A warm golden shade with a matching yellow rope and contrasting cream body strap.

Olive Green
A muted olive chest panel with an olive-and-white patterned rope and coordinating webbing.

Blue Gray
A soft gray chest panel paired with a navy-and-white patterned rope and darker body strap.

Finding the Right Fit

Measure your cat’s neck where the harness will sit, then measure the widest part of the chest just behind the front legs.

Choose by neck and chest measurements rather than weight or breed alone. This harness may suit Devon Rex, Cornish Rex, Sphynx and other cats whose measurements fall within the stated range.

Adjust the harness so it sits securely without restricting movement. You should be able to slide two fingers comfortably beneath the straps, while ensuring the harness cannot easily slip over the head or shoulders. Check the fit indoors before attaching the leash for an outdoor walk.

Introducing Your Cat to the Harness

Let your cat investigate the harness first. Begin with short indoor sessions and reward calm behaviour with treats or praise.

Once your cat is comfortable wearing it, attach the leash and practise gentle movement indoors. Keep the first outdoor sessions short, quiet and closely supervised.

If your cat becomes startled or backs away, stop walking, avoid sudden pulls and give them time to settle.

Chest Pad: Soft air-layer fabric. Rope: Braided polyester, 8 mm diameter. Hardware: Metal rings, connector clip, sliding rings and adjustable stopper.

For routine cleaning, spot clean with a soft cloth. If needed, gently hand wash in cool water with mild detergent, following any care instructions on the product label.

Air dry fully before use. Avoid bleach, tumble drying and direct heat. Regularly inspect the rope, straps, stitching, buckle and metal hardware for wear.

Is it escape-proof?
No harness can guarantee that a cat will never escape. This design helps reduce slipping when correctly fitted, but careful adjustment and supervision remain essential.

Does it help protect the neck?
The broad Y-shaped panel helps distribute leash pressure across the chest. Avoid sudden pulling, excessive tension or lifting your cat by the leash.

Can I buy the harness and leash separately?
Yes. Select Harness Only, Leash Only or Harness + Leash Set from the purchase options.

Can I wear the leash around my waist or across my body?
Yes. The adjustable leash supports handheld, crossbody and waist-worn use. Choose a setup that allows you to maintain control and respond quickly to your cat.

Is it suitable for a Devon Rex or Sphynx?
It may be suitable when your cat’s neck and chest measurements match the size range. Breed and body weight alone do not determine fit.

Can my cat wear it unsupervised?
Remove the harness when your cat is unsupervised. It is intended for supervised walking and harness training, not for unattended tethering or use as a vehicle restraint.
