A complimentary personalised name tag is included with every harness. To receive your customised tag, please contact our customer care team or email us before production begins, providing your pet’s name, breed and measurements. Personalisation cannot be guaranteed if the required information is not submitted in advance.

The Nekoan Atelier Sage Harness is created for those who value lasting materials, considered proportions and the unmistakable character of something made by hand.
Each harness is individually handcrafted from premium cowhide leather after your order is placed. The leather is carefully selected, cut, shaped and assembled by hand, then finished with precise stitching and polished silver-tone hardware.
Its sculptural front panel creates a distinctive silhouette while the adjustable leather straps allow the fit to be refined around your dog’s neck and chest. Reinforced attachment points and carefully finished edges complete a piece designed for considered everyday wear.
No two pieces of natural leather are completely identical. Subtle variations in grain, tone and surface character are part of the material’s authenticity. With regular use and proper care, the leather will gradually soften and develop a patina unique to your dog.

CUSTOM SIZE — MADE TO MEASURE
Select this option if your dog’s measurements fall outside our standard XS–XL size range.
After your order is placed, our atelier will contact you using the email address or telephone number provided at checkout. We will ask you to confirm your pet’s name, breed, neck girth, chest girth and body length before production begins.
Production will begin only after the measurements and custom specifications have been confirmed. Additional charges may apply depending on the requested size, leather selection and construction requirements.
Please measure your dog before ordering. Use both neck and chest measurements when selecting a size.
If your dog falls between two sizes, contact us before placing your order. For measurements outside the standard size range, a made-to-measure service may be available.
Because every harness is produced specifically after purchase, accurate measurements are essential.
HOW TO MEASURE
NECK GIRTH
Measure around the lower part of the neck where the harness will naturally sit. Keep the tape comfortably close without pulling it tight.
CHEST GIRTH
Measure around the widest part of the ribcage, directly behind the front legs.
BODY LENGTH
For custom sizing, measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail along the back.
Keep the measuring tape level and allow enough room for comfortable movement. We recommend measuring twice before submitting a made-to-order request.

This piece is handcrafted after your order is placed. Please check all measurements carefully before purchasing.
Natural leather may show subtle variations in grain and tone. These characteristics are not defects; they are part of what makes every piece unique.
Custom colours, personalised specifications and oversized measurements may require additional production time and separate pricing.
BESPOKE COLOUR REQUEST
Looking for a different colour or a made-to-measure size?
Our selected bespoke leathers include Peacock Blue, Rose Pink and Aubergine Purple. Please contact us with your preferred colour, your dog’s neck and chest measurements, and any special requirements.
We will confirm leather availability, pricing and estimated production time before your custom order is finalised.
LEATHER CARE
Wipe the leather gently with a clean, soft cloth after use.
Avoid prolonged contact with water, direct heat, alcohol, perfume and chemical cleaning products. If the leather becomes wet, remove excess moisture with a soft cloth and allow it to dry naturally at room temperature.
Use a colour-safe leather conditioner sparingly when needed. Always test any care product on a discreet area first.
Store the harness in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not fold or compress the leather for extended periods.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Check the harness, stitching, straps and hardware before every use. Discontinue use if any part becomes damaged or excessively worn.
Adjust the harness so that it sits securely without restricting breathing or movement. Never leave your dog unattended while wearing the harness.
This product is intended for supervised walking use. It is not designed as a vehicle safety restraint, tie-out device or chew-resistant product.

Yes. Each harness is individually made after your order is placed. Natural variations between pieces are expected and form part of the handmade character.
Is the harness made from genuine leather?
The harness is handcrafted from premium cowhide leather. Grain and tonal variations may occur naturally.
Can I order a custom colour?
Yes. Peacock Blue, Rose Pink and Aubergine Purple are available through our bespoke colour service. Please contact us to confirm leather availability, pricing and production time.
Can you make a custom size?
Made-to-measure sizing may be available for dogs outside our standard XS–XL range. Please send us your dog’s neck girth, chest girth and body length for assessment.
Are the leash and accessories included?
Only the leather harness is included unless a matching leash or accessory is specifically listed in the selected product option.
Can made-to-order products be returned?
Made-to-order and personalised pieces are created specifically for your order. Please review the store’s custom-order return policy and confirm all measurements before purchasing.
Versand & Retouren
xReturns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
