PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Heritage checks for colder days together

A familiar plaid, a richly textured finish and a little extra warmth for winter walks. The NEKOAN Heritage Maillard Plaid Winter Dog Coat brings a classic outerwear feel to the moments you share, from a quiet morning stroll to an afternoon in town.

The curled, plush-looking exterior gives the checks depth and character. Chocolate-brown edging frames the rounded collar and curved hem, while the quilted interior adds a considered finishing touch. A NEKOAN logo patch completes the understated look.

Hook-and-loop fastenings at the neck and body make dressing straightforward and allow the fit to be adjusted within the recommended measurement ranges. The sleeveless shape leaves the front legs free to move, and a metal D-ring sits on the back.

Choose Brown for warm caramel and cream checks, Blue for a cool blue-grey palette, or Pink for soft blush and ivory. Available in six sizes from S to 3XL; compare your dog’s neck, chest and back measurements with the size guide before ordering.

HOW TO CHOOSE A SIZE
Measure around the widest part of your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs. Measure the neck where the collar sits, then the back from the base of the neck towards the base of the tail. Compare all three measurements with the guide. Allow room for comfortable movement; weight and breed are references only. Allow 1–3 cm variation due to manual measurement.

HOW TO PUT IT ON
Open the neck and body fastenings. Place the coat over your dog’s back, then close and adjust the tabs without catching fur. Check the neck and chest fit, and let your dog take a few steps to confirm comfortable movement.

MATERIAL & CARE

Main material: Polyester. The curled exterior and quilted interior describe the visible construction; no fibre percentage or filling composition has been supplied.

Follow the garment’s care label. For everyday care, remove loose dirt and spot clean with a soft damp cloth. If the care label permits washing, use cool water and mild detergent. Fasten the hook-and-loop tabs before washing and air dry away from direct heat. Avoid bleach and high-temperature drying. Check the fastenings and D-ring regularly.

FAQ

How do I choose the right size?
Use your dog’s neck, chest and back measurements together. Chest fit is especially important. Weight and breed examples are references only; the same weight can correspond to different body shapes.

Is the coat adjustable?
Hook-and-loop fastenings at the neck and body allow adjustment. Choose a size that fits within the guide’s ranges, leaving room for comfortable movement.

Is the textured fabric real wool?
The main material is polyester. The curled texture describes the appearance rather than a wool fibre content.

Can I attach a leash to the coat?
A metal D-ring is shown on the back. Its load rating has not been provided; use a separate, properly fitted walking harness when your dog pulls or needs secure restraint.

Is it suitable for winter?
The coat adds a warm layer for cooler outings. Comfort depends on the weather, your dog’s natural coat and activity. Monitor your dog and adjust wear time accordingly.

How should I clean it?
Follow the garment’s care label. Spot clean for everyday care; if washing is permitted, use cool water and mild detergent, then air dry away from direct heat.
