PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Vintage Character, Made for Everyday Warmth

The Nekoan Vintage Faux Leather Shearling Dog Jacket brings classic outerwear styling into your dog’s cold-weather wardrobe.

The softly textured faux leather exterior has a rich, slightly weathered appearance that gives every jacket a refined vintage character. A plush faux-shearling collar frames the neck, while the warm inner lining provides an extra layer of comfort on cooler days.

Carefully placed contrast stitching follows the shape of the jacket and highlights its structured construction. Decorative back pockets and antique-style metal buttons add an authentic retro finish, creating a design that feels more like a miniature tailored jacket than ordinary pet clothing.

The sleeveless cut leaves the front legs and shoulders unrestricted, helping your dog walk, sit and move naturally. The shaped body follows the back and torso for comfortable coverage without unnecessary bulk.

Available in Vintage Brown and Classic Black, this jacket is ideal for autumn walks, winter outings, travel, photographs and special occasions.

SIZE SELECTION NOTE

Please measure your dog before ordering. The recommended weight is provided only as a general reference, as dogs of the same weight may have different body shapes.

Chest measurement is the most important measurement when selecting a size. If your dog falls between two sizes, has a broad chest, thick fur or a longer body, we recommend choosing the larger size.

Please allow a measurement difference of approximately 2–3 cm due to manual measurement.

HOW TO MEASURE

Neck

Measure around the base of your dog’s neck where the jacket collar will naturally sit. Keep the measuring tape comfortably loose.

Chest

Measure around the widest part of your dog’s chest, directly behind the front legs. Do not pull the measuring tape too tightly.

Back Length

Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail while your dog is standing naturally.

For a comfortable fit, allow enough space to place approximately two fingers between the jacket and your dog’s body.

FIT GUIDANCE

Open the jacket fastening.
Position the jacket evenly across your dog’s back.
Make sure the plush collar rests comfortably around the base of the neck.
Fasten the jacket securely around the body.
Check that the chest area is comfortable and not restrictive.
Confirm that your dog can walk, sit and lie down naturally.
Recheck the fit after several minutes of movement.

FAQ

Is the jacket made from genuine leather?

No. The exterior is made from textured faux leather, designed to provide a refined leather-inspired appearance while remaining suitable for everyday pet wear.

Is the jacket suitable for winter?

Yes. The plush collar and warm lining make it suitable for cool autumn and winter conditions. The appropriate level of warmth will depend on your dog’s breed, coat type, activity level and local weather.

Does the jacket restrict movement?

The jacket has a sleeveless construction designed to leave the shoulders and front legs free. Correct sizing is essential for comfortable movement.

How do I choose the correct size?

Measure your dog’s neck, chest and back length, then compare the measurements with the size chart. The chest measurement should be your main reference.

What should I do if my dog is between sizes?

Choose the larger size, especially if your dog has thick fur, a broad chest or a long body.

Can the jacket be machine washed?

Machine washing is not recommended because it may damage the faux leather surface, plush lining or metal hardware. Wipe or spot clean the jacket and allow it to air dry.

Are the back pockets functional?

The flap pockets are primarily included as a design feature. They should not be used to carry heavy objects.

Can my dog wear the jacket indoors?

The jacket is designed mainly for outdoor cold-weather use. Remove it indoors if your dog becomes warm or will be left unsupervised.
