HOW TO MEASURE

NOSE CIRCUMFERENCE

Measure around the widest part of your dog’s muzzle, positioned just below the eyes.

NECK CIRCUMFERENCE

Measure around the base of your dog’s neck where the neck strap will naturally sit.

The head halter should fit closely without feeling tight. You should be able to place one finger comfortably beneath the straps.

FIT NOTES

• Choose the size according to your dog’s actual nose and neck measurements rather than weight alone.
• If your dog is between sizes or has a particularly broad neck, choose the larger size.
• Not recommended for very short-nosed breeds such as French Bulldogs or Pugs.
• Introduce the head halter gradually through short, positive sessions before using it on a full walk.
• Always check that the nose loop cannot slide over your dog’s nose before walking.

MATERIALS

CARE

Hand wash gently in cool water using a mild detergent. Allow the product to air dry naturally.

Do not bleach, iron or tumble dry. Rinse the metal hardware after exposure to mud, salt water or heavy rain.

SAFETY

The Valley Head Halter is a walking and training aid, not a muzzle.

Always use the product under supervision and never leave it on an unattended dog. Avoid sudden or forceful leash corrections. Check the straps, fit and metal hardware before every walk.

A head halter should be introduced gradually and used as part of calm, reward-based walking practice.
