PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A Simple Black Layer for Shared Adventures

The Nekoan Black Hooded Cat Harness Vest brings a clean, casual look to shared adventures. An all-black body, textured hood and zipper accents give the clothing-style harness its understated character.

Made with cotton outer fabric and cotton lining, the vest offers a soft, breathable feel against the skin and coat. It is a cotton cat walking harness option for Sphynx, Devon Rex and other cats whose measurements match the size guide.

A front zipper keeps the body closed, with a dedicated back ring for the included leash. Correctly fitted and fully fastened, the vest shape helps reduce slipping and backing out while allowing comfortable movement.

Use this hooded cat harness and lead set for supervised garden time, short outdoor walks and quiet campsite visits. Check that the hood stays clear of your cat’s eyes and ears.

Start indoors when introducing the vest to a cat that is new to leash training. Gradual socialization and outdoor familiarization should follow your cat’s pace: choose calm surroundings, keep the leash relaxed and let your cat move willingly.

Compare neck, chest, waist and back-length measurements before ordering. Check the fit and zipper before every outing and supervise throughout use, as no harness can guarantee complete escape prevention.

Size & Fit Guide

Measure around the base of your cat’s neck and the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Measure back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Also check the waist measurement shown in the size chart. Keep the tape naturally close to the body without pulling it tight.

Compare all measurements with the product’s size chart. The vest should allow comfortable movement without large gaps around the neck or front-leg openings. Make sure the zipper closes fully without pulling tightly across the chest.

For Sphynx and Devon Rex cats, choose by individual measurements rather than breed alone. If your cat does not fit the listed measurements, contact us for sizing guidance before ordering.

FAQ

Is this a cat jacket or a walking harness?

It combines a hooded clothing-style vest with a dedicated back leash attachment. Use it with the included leash for supervised walking when the vest is correctly sized and fully fastened.

Does the vest help prevent escapes?

Yes. The fitted vest structure is designed to help reduce slipping and backing out when correctly sized and fastened. Check that the zipper is fully closed and that the neck and leg openings fit comfortably. No harness guarantees complete escape prevention, so supervision remains essential.

Is it suitable for Sphynx and Devon Rex cats?

Yes, when their measurements match the size chart. Cotton outer fabric and lining provide a soft contact surface, while the vest shape offers coverage around the torso.

Can other cats wear it?

Yes, if their neck, chest and back-length measurements suit the size chart and they are comfortable wearing clothing. Do not choose by breed or weight alone.

Can I use it for cat leash training and socialization?

Yes. It can be used during gradual harness familiarization, leash practice and supervised introductions to unfamiliar surroundings. Start indoors, then introduce quiet outdoor spaces at your cat’s pace.

Is it suitable for camping and outdoor walks?

It can be used for supervised campsite exploration, garden visits and short walks. Keep your cat with you and check the fit and attachment before use.

What are this vest’s design details?

An all-black body, textured hood and zipper accents give the Nekoan Hooded Cotton Cat Harness Vest a clean, casual look. A front zipper closes the vest, while the back ring provides a dedicated leash attachment. Keep the hood back and clear of your cat’s eyes and ears while walking.

Is the fabric cotton?

Yes. The supplied information identifies both the outer fabric and lining as cotton. The composition of other components has not been specified.

Can it be worn in warm weather?

Cotton is breathable, but a clothing-style harness covers more of the body than a strap harness. Choose suitable conditions and remove the vest if your cat appears uncomfortable or too warm.

Can I machine wash it?

Yes. Machine washing is listed in the product information. Use a laundry bag and a cold, gentle cycle, then follow the care label for drying.
