Measure your cat’s neck circumference, then consider the collar’s width, your cat’s head shape and the location that needs protection. Weight is a reference only.

Adjust the neck opening to sit securely without pressing against the throat. Check normal breathing, swallowing and movement, and secure loose cord ends.

Gather the outer edge as needed, then check whether your cat can still reach the protected area when sitting, lying down or turning. Paw, leg and head protection may require a wider collar or a different design; do not select by neck fit alone.

For post-operative use, ask your veterinarian to confirm suitability and wearing time.

Care

Wipe small marks with a soft cloth or gently clean with a soft brush. Hand wash when needed, keeping dark and light colours separate.

Air dry completely in a ventilated place. Do not machine wash, bleach, iron, dry clean or tumble dry.

Inspect the fabric, seams, drawcords and adjustment components regularly. Store away from sharp objects, and do not leave the collar out as a chew toy.

How is this different from the padded cone-shaped model?

This collar has fibre-filled flower petals and an outer drawcord that gathers the edge into a more cupped shape. The separate cone-shaped model uses foam-filled panels and a deeper conical structure.

Will it stop my cat licking every part of the body?

No. Reach depends on collar size, adjustment, body proportions and the location being protected. Check your cat’s actual reach before relying on the collar. Some cats or wound locations need a different design.

Can it be used after spaying or during skin treatment?

It may be suitable when it prevents access to the relevant area. Ask your veterinarian to confirm protection after surgery or for a skin condition. Follow medication instructions when using topical treatments.

Can my cat eat, drink and sleep while wearing it?

The soft petals can cushion the edge during rest. Eating and drinking depend on the selected size, bowl shape and your cat’s proportions. Observe these activities and follow veterinary instructions for wear during sleep.

Is the collar waterproof?

The outer fabric is waterproof nylon, making everyday splashes and surface marks easier to wipe away. Keep the neck opening dry and allow the whole collar to dry fully after washing.
