Built for Rainy Walks, Wet Trails and Muddy Detours

Rainy days call for more than a simple splash-resistant layer. The NEKOAN Technical Waterproof Dog Rain Suit combines a lightweight waterproof shell, taped critical seams and four-leg coverage to help keep your dog cleaner and drier on everyday walks and outdoor adventures.

Waterproof Protection with a Softer Feel

The Toray Dermizax fabric uses a nonporous polyurethane membrane to block rain while allowing moisture vapor to escape. A durable water-repellent finish helps water bead on the surface, while taped critical seams and a waterproof side zipper help reduce water entry at stitching and openings. The fabric feels soft and has a little stretch, giving your dog room to move without the stiff feel of a traditional raincoat.

More Coverage, Less Cleanup

The four-leg design helps shield the body and upper legs from rain, wet grass and muddy splashes. An extended belly panel adds underside coverage, and elasticated leg openings help keep the sleeves in place. The belly panel includes a designated trim area that can be customized for male dogs’ bathroom clearance.

A Hood That Adjusts—and Comes Off

The detachable hood includes a short brim and adjustments for hood depth and the face opening. Fine-tune the fit to help keep the hood comfortably positioned without blocking your dog’s view, or remove it when it is not needed.

Adjustments at the neck, belly and back length help accommodate different body proportions within the selected size. Short-leg and long-leg cuts offer a more tailored starting point for different dogs. An auxiliary snap helps align the side opening before you close the zipper, making dressing easier.

Two Practical Leash Options

An integrated adjustable collar provides a leash ring at the neck. If you prefer your dog’s own harness, a covered opening on the back provides access to a compatible attachment point underneath. The snap-down flap helps shield this opening from rain.

Reflective piping adds visibility when illuminated during low-light walks. When the rain clears, the lightweight suit folds down compactly for carrying in your bag.

Choose the short-leg cut for dogs such as Dachshunds and Corgis, or the long-leg cut for dogs such as Schnauzers, longer-legged Poodles and Bichon Frises, West Highland White Terriers, Yorkshire Terriers, Italian Greyhounds and Fox Terriers, depending on measurements.

Measure before ordering. For this suit, choose a garment chest measurement approximately 1.6–3.1 inches (4–8 cm) larger than your dog’s snug body measurement, then check the neck, back-length range and leg proportions against the size chart.

Returns & Refunds

For eligible non-personalized goods, notify us at support@nekoan.com within 14 days after the last item in your order is delivered, then send the goods back within 14 days after notice. Contact us for the correct return address before posting; do not use the dispatch address.

For change-of-mind returns or a size selected incorrectly by the customer, the customer pays the actual direct return postage. We do not charge a fixed return-postage fee or a restocking fee. Necessary return or replacement shipping costs for a confirmed defect or our error are covered by us.

Goods genuinely made to your individual specifications or personalized may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where permitted by law. Being handmade or produced after an order is placed does not automatically make a standard item non-returnable. Rights for damaged, defective or incorrect goods remain unaffected.

FAQ

What makes this different from a water-repellent dog jacket?
The suit combines a waterproof membrane fabric with a DWR surface finish, taped critical seams and a waterproof side zipper. The four-leg cut and extended belly panel also provide more coverage than a simple jacket.

What do the waterproof and breathability figures mean?
The supplier lists a fabric waterproof rating of 15,000 mm hydrostatic head and moisture vapor transmission of at least 10,000 g/m²/24 h. These are fabric specifications. Overall protection and comfort also depend on fit, weather, activity and how the openings are adjusted.

Is the hood removable?
Yes. The hood detaches when it is not needed. Its depth and face opening can be adjusted, and a short brim adds coverage. Check that your dog’s eyes remain unobstructed.

What parts of the fit can I adjust?
The suit offers adjustments at the neck, belly and back length, plus hood depth and face opening. These adjustments refine the fit within the selected size; they do not replace choosing the correct cut and garment measurements.

Does it have a built-in leash attachment?
Yes. An integrated adjustable collar provides a leash ring at the neck. Check the collar fit, buckle, ring and stitching before each walk.

Can my dog wear a separate harness underneath?
Yes. A back opening beneath a snap-down flap provides access to a compatible harness attachment point. Check alignment and allow room for the harness when choosing a size.

How does the suit fasten?
It opens with a waterproof side zipper. Fasten the auxiliary snap first to help align the opening, then close the zipper while keeping fur clear.

How do I choose between short-leg and long-leg cuts?
Choose according to your dog’s leg length and body proportions. S1–S4 are the short-leg cuts; L5–L6 are the long-leg cuts. Breed suggestions are a starting point, so always check the size chart and sleeve clearance.

How much room should I allow around the chest?

Can it be packed for trips?
Yes. The lightweight fabric folds compactly for carrying in a bag. Dry it completely before storing it.

How do I clean it?
