PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Soft Texture for a Little Exploration

Nekoan’s green corduroy cat harness pairs a soft ribbed finish with a simple H-shaped fit. The polyester corduroy neck section provides a gentle contact surface, and the open body structure allows normal leg movement without the coverage of a full vest.

Adjust the neck section and chest strap, then position the back ring and metal stopper to suit your cat. Correct fitting helps reduce slipping and backing out. At approximately 39 g, the harness provides a light layer for supervised outings.

The matching polyester rope leash extends from 125–220 cm for handheld, crossbody or waist-worn use. Its corduroy contact section brings the same soft texture to the handle and wearing area.

For indoor cat leash training and gradual socialization, start with short sessions at home. Progress to quiet garden visits and supervised outdoor walks at your cat’s pace. Check the fit before each outing and keep the leash relaxed.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Size & Fit Guide

Neck circumference: 10–33 cm / 3.9–13 in.
Chest circumference: 31–53 cm / 12.2–20.9 in.
Adjustable back section: 9–12 cm / 3.5–4.7 in.
Adjustable leash length: 125–220 cm / 49.2–86.6 in.
Harness weight: approximately 39 g / 1.4 oz.
Listed set net weight: approximately 100 g / 3.5 oz.
Reference cat weight: up to 8 kg / 17.6 lbs.

Measure around the neck where the harness sits and around the widest part of the chest just behind the front legs. Keep the tape naturally close without tightening.

Both neck and chest measurements must fit. Weight alone does not determine suitability. The 9–12 cm back measurement refers to the harness’s adjustable back section, not your cat’s full back length. Allow approximately 1–3 cm variation from manual measurement.

Fitting & Use

1. Place the neck loop over your cat’s head and adjust the sliding corduroy section.
2. Position the back ring and metal stopper to suit your cat’s proportions.
3. Fasten and adjust the chest strap behind the front legs.
4. Attach the leash and check for a close fit that allows normal movement without large gaps.

Introduce the harness indoors first. Crossbody and waist-worn modes still require active supervision. Avoid sharp pulls, dragging or lifting your cat by the harness.

Included

One adjustable corduroy H-shaped cat harness and one matching 125–220 cm adjustable rope leash.

FAQ

Does this harness help prevent escapes?

Yes. The adjustable H-shaped structure, sliding neck section and back stopper help reduce slipping and backing out when correctly fitted. Check all adjustments before each outing. No harness is completely escape-proof.

Is the corduroy made from cotton?

The supplied material information identifies this product as polyester. The corduroy describes its soft, ribbed fabric texture.

Can I wear the leash across my body or around my waist?

Yes. The matching leash adjusts from 125–220 cm and supports handheld, crossbody and waist-worn use. Choose a setup that lets you respond promptly to your cat.

Is it suitable for kittens or small cats?

Only when both neck and chest measurements match the guide and the harness fits securely. The small minimum neck measurement does not mean it will fit a small kitten; the chest range starts at 31 cm.

Can I use it for indoor cat leash training?

Yes. Begin with short, supervised sessions at home, then introduce quiet outdoor surroundings gradually. It can be used during harness familiarization and gentle socialization.

How much does it weigh?

The harness weighs approximately 39 g. The listed net weight of the complete set is approximately 100 g.

Is a leash included?

The complete set includes the corduroy harness and matching adjustable rope leash.

Can I machine wash it?

No. Gently wipe dirty areas with a damp cloth and air dry in the shade.
