PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Handmade Stripes for Comfortable Everyday Wear

The NEKOAN Handmade Striped V-Neck Cat Tank combines simple stripes with a soft, comfortable feel. Made primarily from cotton with a small amount of spandex, it offers gentle stretch and a smooth surface that helps reduce friction against the skin.

This medium-weight cat tank is suited to everyday wear at home, spring and fall outings, or winter days indoors. The overlapping V-neck and sleeveless shape leave the front legs free, while the slight stretch follows the body without restricting movement when correctly sized.

Breathable, moisture-absorbing cotton helps reduce stuffiness during close-to-skin wear. It is a practical cotton tank for Sphynx and Devon Rex cats, as well as Cornish Rex and Abyssinian cats whose measurements match the size guide.

The size guide is intended for Sphynx (hairless cats), Devon Rex, Cornish Rex and Abyssinian cats. Compare neck, chest and back-length measurements before ordering. For other cats, message us about custom sizing and include the breed, a clear photo and body measurements.

MATERIAL & CARE

Material & Comfort

Handmade from cotton-rich fabric with a small amount of spandex for gentle stretch. The soft, smooth texture feels comfortable against the skin and helps reduce friction-related irritation.

The slight stretch follows your cat’s natural body contours. When correctly sized, the vest sits close without feeling restrictive, leaving room for comfortable movement. Breathable, moisture-absorbing cotton helps reduce stuffiness during close-to-skin wear.

Medium-weight fabric for everyday indoor wear, spring and fall outings, or winter use indoors. Choose when to wear it according to the temperature and your cat’s comfort.

Care

Hand wash in cold water, or place in a laundry bag and machine wash on a gentle cycle. A small amount of excess dye may release during the first wash; wash separately initially.

Gently press out excess water without wringing or twisting. Reshape and air dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry or expose to direct sunlight.

FAQ

Is this cat tank handmade?

Yes. Each vest is handmade from cotton-rich fabric with a small amount of spandex.

Is it pure cotton or a stretch blend?

Cotton is the main component, with a small amount of spandex for gentle stretch. It is not 100% cotton.

Is this a thin or thick cat vest?

It is medium weight. It is suited to everyday indoor wear, spring and fall outings, or winter wear indoors, depending on the temperature and your cat’s comfort.

Which cats is the size guide intended for?

The size guide is intended for Sphynx (hairless cats), Devon Rex, Cornish Rex and Abyssinian cats. Compare your cat’s neck, chest and back length with the guide before choosing a size.

Can you make clothing for other cats?

Yes. Message us about custom sizing. Include your cat’s breed, a clear photo and body measurements so we can discuss a suitable fit.

Will it feel comfortable against the skin?

The soft, smooth cotton-rich fabric helps reduce friction-related irritation. Gentle stretch allows a comfortable fit when correctly sized. Check that the neckline, chest and arm openings do not restrict movement.

Does it have sleeves?

No. This V-neck vest is sleeveless, leaving the front legs free.

How should I wash and dry it?

Hand wash in cold water, or use a laundry bag and a gentle machine-wash cycle. Wash separately initially, as a small amount of excess dye may release in the first wash. Gently press out water without wringing, reshape and air dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry or expose to direct sunlight.
