Bring a little Nordic-inspired charm to chilly-day walks with the NEKOAN Fair Isle Wool-Blend Dog Sweater. A traditional Fair Isle knit pattern and softly textured yarn create a relaxed, vintage-inspired look for everyday outings and seasonal photos.

The thick wool-blend knit helps retain warmth, while its generous stretch allows comfortable movement. A double-layer ribbed high collar adds cozy coverage around the neck without needing a separate scarf.

Triangular underarm gussets provide extra room around the front legs, helping the sweater move with your dog during walking and play. The shaped body covers the chest and back while leaving the hind legs free.

Designed for small dogs, it may suit Dachshunds, Poodles, Bichon Frises, Pomeranians, Yorkshire Terriers, Maltese and Chihuahuas, depending on individual measurements. For Dachshunds and other long-bodied dogs, check both chest fit and back coverage carefully.

Before ordering, measure your dog’s neck, chest and back length and compare all three with the size chart. Leave comfortable room around the chest, underarms and collar. The stretchy knit should fit comfortably without being pulled tight.

Wash separately from garments with exposed zippers, buttons or other snagging hardware. Do not wring. Gently press out excess water, reshape and lay flat to dry in the shade.

Do not hang to dry, as this may stretch the knit. Avoid hot water, direct sunlight and high-heat drying. Follow the sewn-in care label if its instructions differ.

Standard shipping is free on orders of US$100 or more; orders below US$100 have a flat US$8 shipping fee. Local-currency equivalents and available destinations are shown at checkout.

Orders are currently dispatched from China. Most standard products are dispatched within 2 business days after payment. For customized or made-to-order products, please contact us before ordering. Production and dispatch times are confirmed individually with you.

Estimated transit time is 7–9 business days after dispatch, separate from processing time. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs or carrier delays.

Returns & Refunds

For eligible non-personalized goods, notify us at support@nekoan.com within 14 days after the last item in your order is delivered, then send the goods back within 14 days after notice. Contact us for the correct return address before posting; do not use the dispatch address.

For change-of-mind returns or a size selected incorrectly by the customer, the customer pays the actual direct return postage. We do not charge a fixed return-postage fee or a restocking fee. Necessary return or replacement shipping costs for a confirmed defect or our error are covered by us.

Goods genuinely made to your individual specifications or personalized may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where permitted by law. Being handmade or produced after an order is placed does not automatically make a standard item non-returnable. Rights for damaged, defective or incorrect goods remain unaffected.

Is this sweater made entirely from wool?
No. It contains 24% wool, blended with nylon, polyester, recycled polyester and spandex.

Is the Fair Isle pattern printed?
No. The pattern is knitted into the fabric, adding texture and a traditional sweater finish.

What provides warmth?
The thick wool-blend yarn helps trap insulating air, while the double-layer high collar adds coverage around the neck.

Does it stretch?
Yes. The stretchy knit and ribbed collar help accommodate movement. Choose the correct size rather than relying on stretch to make a smaller garment fit.

What are the underarm gussets for?
The triangular panels add room around the front legs, helping reduce pulling at the underarms during movement.

Is it suitable for Dachshunds?

Will it shrink or lose its shape?
Hot water, high heat and rough handling can cause shrinkage or distortion. Gentle washing and flat drying help preserve the fit. Avoid hanging the wet sweater, which may stretch it.
