PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A Little Workwear Charm for Everyday Walks

Inspired by classic American barn jackets, the NEKOAN Vintage Barn-Style Dog Coat brings a relaxed workwear look to your dog’s everyday wardrobe. A fold-down collar and simple, timeless silhouette give it a vintage feel that looks right at home on neighborhood strolls and countryside outings.

The polyester-cotton outer has a water-repellent finish to help shed light rain, snow flurries and splashes. Inside, a smooth lining feels comfortable against your dog’s coat and helps keep loose fur from clinging, making everyday cleanup easier.

Hook-and-loop closures make dressing quick and straightforward. An elasticated chest section helps the coat sit comfortably against the body and reduces gaps, while the sleeveless cut leaves the legs free to move.

A leash access opening lets you reach a compatible collar or harness attachment point beneath the coat, so your dog can wear their usual walking gear underneath.

Depending on the selected size and individual measurements, the coat may suit Poodles, Bichon Frises, French Bulldogs, Schnauzers, West Highland White Terriers, Shiba Inus, Corgis, Border Collies, Cocker Spaniels, Beagles, Samoyeds, Siberian Huskies, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds and Doberman Pinschers.

Measure your dog’s neck, chest and back length and compare all three with the size chart. Allow comfortable room for movement and fur.

FAQ

What is the outer fabric?
The outer is a polyester-cotton blend with a water-repellent finish.

Is it waterproof?
It is water-repellent, rather than fully waterproof. The outer helps shed light rain, snow flurries and splashes, but the coat is not intended for heavy or prolonged rain.

Does the lining collect dog hair?
The smooth lining helps reduce loose-fur cling and makes routine cleanup easier. Some fur may still collect during wear.

How does the coat fasten?
Hook-and-loop fastenings make it easy to put on and remove. An elasticated chest section helps refine the fit without enclosing the legs.

Does it have a built-in leash ring?
It has a leash access opening, rather than a built-in metal ring. Use a separate collar or harness underneath and check that its attachment point aligns with the opening.

Which dogs can wear it?
Depending on size and measurements, it may suit Poodles, Bichon Frises, French Bulldogs, Schnauzers, West Highland White Terriers, Shiba Inus, Corgis, Border Collies, Cocker Spaniels, Beagles, Samoyeds, Siberian Huskies, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds and Doberman Pinschers. Choose by measurements rather than breed alone.

How do I choose the right size?
Measure the neck, the widest part of the chest just behind the front legs, and the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Compare all three with the size chart. Allow room for fur and comfortable movement, and account for any clothing or walking gear worn underneath.

How do I clean it?
Follow the garment’s care label for washing and drying instructions.
