PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A Softer Kind of Colour

The Nekoan Pastel Stripe Stretch Cotton Cat Vest brings together gentle comfort and a considered use of colour. Stripes in mint green, soft blue, lavender and ivory create a fresh look, finished with contrasting trim around the neck, arm openings and hem.

The cotton fabric feels soft against the skin, while its high-stretch construction moves with your cat through everyday activities. The sleeveless shape leaves the front legs free, and the longer body offers coverage along the back without covering the hind legs or tail.

Light in appearance and easy to wear, this vest is a lovely choice for relaxed moments at home. It may be especially appealing for Sphynx, Devon Rex and Cornish Rex cats that are accustomed to clothing. As every cat is shaped differently, always choose a size by measurement and check the fit on your individual cat.

FIT & SIZE GUIDANCE

Measure your cat’s neck, chest and back length before selecting a size. The chest measurement is especially important for a comfortable fit. The fabric stretches, but the vest should still sit smoothly without pressing into the neck or armholes.

If your cat is between sizes, choose the size that gives more comfortable room around the chest and arm openings. Body weight and breed can be useful references, but measurements should guide your final choice.

HOW TO MEASURE

Neck: Measure around the base of your cat’s neck.
Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Back length: Measure from the base of the neck towards the base of the tail while your cat stands naturally.

MATERIAL & CARE

Material: Cotton fabric with high stretch. No specific fibre percentage is stated.

Wash gently with similar colours using a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and high heat. Reshape the vest while damp and allow it to air dry. Follow the sewn-in care label if it gives more specific instructions.

COMFORT & SAFETY

Introduce clothing gradually and supervise your cat during the first few wears. Check that the neckline and armholes do not rub or restrict movement. Your cat should be able to walk, sit, stretch and rest naturally. Remove the vest if your cat shows signs of discomfort.

FAQ

Is this vest made from cotton?

Yes. This product is described as made with cotton fabric. No specific fibre percentage is stated.

Does the fabric stretch?

Yes. The fabric has high stretch, helping the vest move with your cat. Correct sizing is still essential.

Is this suitable for a Sphynx cat?

It can be suitable for a Sphynx cat that is comfortable wearing clothing. Measure your cat and check that the edges do not rub the skin.

Can Devon Rex and Cornish Rex cats wear it?

Yes, if the measurements and fit suit the individual cat. Breed names alone do not determine the correct size.

Is this a winter coat?

No. It is a sleeveless cotton vest for everyday indoor wear, not a weatherproof outdoor coat.

What should I do if my cat is between sizes?

Compare the neck, chest and back measurements with the garment size chart. Allow comfortable room around the chest and armholes.
