PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Winter warmth, tailored to the Dachshund

Classic diamond quilting meets a silhouette made for long backs and shorter legs. The NEKOAN Quilted Dachshund Winter Coat brings a refined, comfortable layer to everyday cold-weather walks.

A water-repellent nylon exterior helps shed light splashes, while the padded construction adds warmth. Soft ribbed trim and comfortable stretch allow ease of movement, with hook-and-loop fastenings at the neck and chest for an adjustable fit.

A discreet opening near the neckline gives access to your dog’s collar for attaching a leash. Finished with a NEKOAN logo patch, the coat is available in understated Beige and Navy Blue, in sizes S, M and L.

Measure your dog’s neck, chest and back before ordering, and compare all three with our Dachshund size guide. Weight is a reference only.

SIZE GUIDE — Neck / Chest / Back length / Reference weight

M — 30–36 cm / 40–52 cm / 40 cm / 3–7 kg. Inches: 11.8–14.2 / 15.7–20.5 / 15.7.

Open the neck and chest fastenings, lay the coat along your dog’s back, and adjust the tabs for a comfortable fit. Keep fur clear of the fastenings and check freedom of movement.

MATERIAL & CARE

Main materials: Polyester and nylon. The quilted construction provides a padded layer, and the nylon exterior has a water-repellent finish.

Follow the garment’s care label. Remove loose dirt and spot clean with a soft damp cloth. If washing is permitted, use cool water and mild detergent, close the hook-and-loop tabs, and air dry away from direct heat. Avoid bleach, high-temperature drying and ironing the coated exterior. Check seams and fastenings regularly.

FAQ

Is this coat designed for Dachshunds?

Yes. Its longer silhouette is intended for Dachshund proportions. Compare neck, chest and back measurements with the size guide to choose a suitable fit.

How do I choose between S, M and L?

Use all three measurements rather than weight alone. S has a 35 cm back, M 40 cm and L 45 cm. Check the neck and chest ranges as well and allow space for comfortable movement.

Is the coat adjustable and flexible?

Hook-and-loop fastenings at the neck and chest allow fit adjustment, while comfortable stretch helps your dog move naturally.

Is it waterproof?

The nylon exterior is water-repellent and helps shed light splashes. It is not intended to provide fully waterproof protection in sustained rain.

Can my dog wear a collar underneath?

Yes. An opening near the neckline provides access to a properly fitted collar for attaching a leash. The coat itself is not a walking harness.

How should I clean it?

Follow the care label. Spot clean for everyday care; if washing is permitted, use cool water and mild detergent, fasten the tabs and air dry.
